The Construction Safety Coordinator Course, is designed for business owners, managers or field representatives with either part-time or full-time responsibilities in safety oversight.

The course not only reviews regulatory requirements, but also focuses on practical fundamentals of recognizing and mitigating workplace hazards. This includes injury prevention, and/or damage to property or the environment.  

Designed for residential or commercial construction, whether you are new to safety, a veteran tradesman or just wanting to learn a new skill set. Safety Matters Training Institute Construction Safety Coordinator Course, is a great way to gain knowledge in the exciting industry of occupational safety.

The course includes guest speakers from local construction companies and a field trip to a construction site.  At the end of the course, each student will be asked to present a safety case study.

Students will receive a Safety Coordinator Certificate, OSHA 30 card, Fall Protection, Excavation and Trenching, Scaffold, Stairs and Ladders, Confined Space, and CPR/First Aid with AED, to name a few.
